Hey all,

Please bring your forms on MONDAY 22ND JUNE so it can be handed in to Ms Lim pronto. also, please bring your THERMOMETER due to the H1N1 outbreak. please be punctual which means you should report by 7.50am inside the room or outside if the room is locked. we don't wish to fine you because it's the holidays but that doesn't mean you take advantage of it. Wear full school uniform and school socks, shoes etc. Don't forget to bring your gloves, scores should be given out on that monday and SYF girls we have to rehearse again so remember your notes!

hey all,

there is CCA this tuesday, thursday and friday to practice for the upcoming P6 open house which is on the 23rd may. not sure what songs we'll be playing as yet but i'll be coming in on tuesday for awhile (or maybe the whole thing even though i've stepped down) but mainly the sec3s will be in charge. practice starts at 4pm, sec 1s and 2s, please be in the handbell room by 3.50 to set up. sec3s. please be in there by 3.45 so we can go through some points to note for practices. but before that sec3s, PLEASE FINISH THE NOTICE BOARD.

ALL RIGHT MAN WE GOT A SILVER.

okay i know this is a little late but anyhoo. this year's SYF was a really meaningful one for us right even though we didn't get gold or gwh. but it's the process that really counts not the color of the medal. anyway, we're kind of known internationally aye. i'll leave what i have to say on monday during assembly cause i think it'll be touching for us. i'll say the not so pc (politically correct) stuff here then.

even though we only started 'real' practices somewhere in feb, i think we've come a long way since then. maybe because we were kind of enngh about going for syf because time seemed so short then. also, we became more bonded during these few months, but maybe that's also because we're stuck in the same room with each other for 6 hours a week (sometimes even more) personally i feel that with this kind of bonding that takes place, we can bring our CCA to greater heights in the future (: so lets continue to show the PL spirit, especially for the very 1st Asia Handbell Festival which will be held in our very own school hall and for the 14th International Symposium next year.

hey syf ringers,

just to clear things up a bit for future practices on saturdays,

attire: pl-lite shirt over pinafore with school shoes/socks
please make sure your hair accesories are black or whatever you would normally wear to school everyday. school and handbell rules still apply. don't think you can get away with things just because it's not a school day.

in one month we'll be on stage at republic polytechnic performing for the judges so please try to work as hard as you can. we are A TEAM and one person isn't just one person when we're on stage. the whole choir is one person when we're performing (sounds weird but it's the best analogy i could think of).
so during practices, please buck up your attitudes because it's really taxing to try and practice with people who will show a face whenever. when someone gets moody, it affects the whole choir not just yourself, and it also affects on how you play and how others play. c'mon guys, but we do this together.
